Day 121.

A lot of people say that love starts with physical attraction. I guess it also holds true for me and my love for books and movies. I tend to fall in love easily with books with pretty or badass covers and with movies with pretty or badass posters. This movie whose review I'm about to write is one of those movies that I fell in love with because of the poster. And yeah, I tend to instantly develop girl crushes on women wearing a razorback and holding a gun.

The story is about a Colombian girl named Cataleya who aspired to become a stone-cold killer after witnessing the murder of her parents when she was ten years old. After escaping a whole troupe of Colombian thugs led by Marco, who is the right hand of the man behind her parents' murder Don Luis, Cataleya made it to America and stayed with her uncle Emilio. There she went to school like a normal kid but used her education to become an assassin who mocks her victims with a flower which happens to be the origin of her name - Cataleya, a Colombian orchid. With the police trying to end her string of neat kills, Cataleya sends a message to Don Luis that Fabio's little girl is out to get him. And of course, what's a heroine without a man going crazy over her? In the middle of the killing spree Cataleya managed to pull off without so much as a fingerprint to pinpoint her identity, she falls in love with an artist who became instrumental for the police to finally determine their "guy". After countless thrilling scenes of chases and blackmails, Cataleya finally ends up wiping out everyone who took away everything from her single-handedly.

The story revolves around how dangerously valuable family is for a person who grew up having nothing but a reason for revenge. A badass masterpiece by Olivier Megaton.

I guess I have nothing to add anymore.

This movie is a must-watch.
