Double Hangover
Day 23.
Today marks the official beginning of the Year of the Water Dragon. Before I go on with this blog, I just would like to greet everyone especially the members of the Filipino-Chinese community a hearty Kung Hei Fat Choi. May we all have a great one!
Okay. Now it's time for me to tell you the reason why I was MIA last night.
I met with my college friends at the SM Mall of Asia to do some catching up and watch Katy Perry's concert from outside the gates of the MoA concert grounds. Before we decided to find a place around the concert venue, we watched the fireworks display at the MoA seaside in celebration of Chinese New Year. The place was unbelievably people-filled and celebrities are everywhere. The concert went great although it started two hours after the scheduled time. Even if we just listened right from across the VIP/Diamond gate, it was still awesome. I just wish I was the one Katy Perry kissed instead of Ivan Dorschner. Haha!
To be honest, I'm still putting together the pieces of my responsible psyche which was shattered by a whole night of alcohol session with my college friends. I completely forgot about deadlines and how my work makes my youth miserable. We talked about a lot of stuff like boys, love, love and boys. It was definitely fun.
I'm not really feeling well right now. The alcohol is not yet completely off my system.
I should go.
Once again, Kung Hei Fat Choi!
